about this blog

“…many places you would like to see are just off the map and many things you want to know are just out of sight or a little beyond your reach. But someday you’ll reach them all, for what you learn today, for no reason at all, will help you discover all the wonderful secrets of tomorrow.” -Norton Juster

This quote came from my favorite book, The Phantom Tollbooth. I love it because it encourages us to learn about everything, think critically, pursue our passions, and be curious about the world. You may have noticed that the motto of this blog is “living an informed, interested, and insightful life.” The goal of this blog is to assist you, the reader, in doing just that by…

  1. informing readers by covering newsworthy topics
  2. peaking the interest of the reader with engaging blog posts and encouraging further engagement through social media and comment sections
  3. providing an insightful perspective on current issues and conversations

I hope to be a source of discernment for you as you go about living in a complex and confusing world. Keep reading, and keep learning.
